Sooo....the month of June came and went. That was quick. We went to the East Coast to have some fun on Long Beach Island with the East Coast family.
My kids are so cute in Beach clothes!
Even though Long beach Island is beautiful, my biggest complaint is the long walk from the beach house to the beach, which is a pain when you're carrying all your beach gear and lugging two kids with you.
Here are some more fun pictures...
Seth and his cousin Regan playing in the sand
Crystal playing a prank:
Cute cousin Regan
Kite flying!!
At the end of each day we would hang out at the Beach house and eat and play games.
We HIGHLY recommend bring a portable DVD player to keep your kids busy sometimes. You can't really see the player in the pic, but you can definitely see that they're interested.
Okay back to the beach:
Sand in the mouth...
Nap time
Annual seafood Long Beach Island feast:
The oldest microwave I've EVER seen!
Crystal doing dishes with grandma Margie:
There was this thing sitting in the sand that we almost stepped on while walking on the beach the next morning.
After a week at the beach, we went back to Philly for a day to enjoy some East Coast excitement.
East coast Pizza: (BEST pizza in the world)
Best place in Philly to eat a cheesesteak...Tony Lukes.
Eagles stadium
At the same time we were there, a mini-hurricane hit all of Philly and there was no Electricity or hot water for 2 days. Luckily, some family friends, Fritz and Linda still had power over at their house, so we went over there to hang out rather than sit in a dark basement for a thousand hours since it was the coolest room in the house. (We only sat in it for about 4 hours before leaving).
Upon arrival, Regan and Seth discovered a flower pot in the backyard and chaos ensued.
Lucky for us there was a bathtub nearby.
Anyway, that was our East Coast vacation in a nutshell this year, and also the highlight of our month of June. Just one and half months from being caught up!

Hey Lis, it was fun to see what you have been up to! Are you guys still going to Disneyland in October?
Looks like lots of fun! East coast beach is the best! My favorite part of the whole blog was the random old microwave you took a picture of. I love how you find humor in things like that.
