The 6th annual Itri Pre-Thanksgiving Pasta Pigout

Turkey shmurkey.  Who needs a turkey dinner when you're married into a family of Italians?   This indeed was the sixth year in a row we had the pasta pigout, and ooooh it was soooo delicious.   I love Italian food, and I love pasta.
This year we had it at Rob and Stephanie's house, it was awesome to finally be able to have one with their family this year, since in the past it's always been in Utah, though from what I hear, the Itri's that are still in Utah still held on to tradition by doing their own on the same day.  Mostly because the tradition is saturated with awesomeness.

Brian looked over Rob and Stephanie's DVD collection and made a list of the DVD's he wants Santa to bring for Christmas

It was a great and successful night.  We had a great time.  The crazy part is that we were all getting together for Thanksgiving dinner the very next day.  What can we say?  We love food.  It was sad that Todd and Megan weren't there to complete the Itri Brother get together, especially because I secretly look forward every year to what dish Todd will make, since he's a pro at making authentic Italian food, and dares to be different.  Maybe next year we will all be together.  We will see.  We did however have a brief skype with them in Utah to peek at all the food they and the other Itri cousins made.
One of my favorite things about this night is that we all take over a ton of leftovers, and it helps to give variety to leftover meals to eat when everybody is sick of turkey in our home.
Like I said we love food.  It's basically a necessity if you want to be an "Itri".  It was fun to have it on the East Coast for a change.
