A happy family, is but an earlier Heaven...

Almost a year later....

So I'm sorry.  I know I haven't written in a long time.  My draft list is full of half-finished posts I never completed or posted, dating all the way back to last February.  Maybe I should post them just for fun even though they aren't done at all... that way you can feel like you know what the bleep happened to me.
Life has been...busy?
Distracting?
All of the above.
Can I just start over?  Will you forgive me?
I have thoughts come to my head all the time, and I think..."I should blog about that..."
Then I remember that I have months to catch up on and loose hope.

Oh man.

ANYWAY...

Quickest update ever.

Still live on the East Coast.  It's my new home. Please leave a note in the comments if you want more explanation, but in the shortest terms, we believe it's where we are supposed to be right now.

My kids are fantastic.  I love them. They are older, cuter, funnier and every day is an adventure.  They make me a better person.

Scott is still the love of my life and best friend.  We still laugh together, which is important in a marriage.

I am going back to school.  I take online classes through BYU Idaho.  Do I need to?  Probably not, but just to clear things up, I'm not doing it for selfish reasons, (money, prestige, pride) and I'm not doing it because anybody suggested it, even though those who suggested it might try and take credit.    I'm doing it for my daughter.  I want her to see that women in the church should value education.  I don't want to tell her how important her education is, and feel like a hypocrite.   I want to be an example for her.  I never finished college when I got married, because I started having babies, and didn't have the time. I will never ever regret my choice to start a family early.  It was the right thing to do at the time.   However I want her to be able to handle herself in whatever life situations come her way.  School will help her with that.  I will love her whether she finishes school or not, but I would like her to have all the resources she possibly can, so she can be free to have more options available in this crazy world.
Will I do anything with a completed education?  Probably not until my kids are all in school and gone all day, which won't be for at least five more years.  That gives me time to do things on my own schedule.  Is it intimidating because I'm old and insecure about it now?  Absolutely.  I've learned after the past couple years though that I can do hard things. I can.  Whether I end up working in my later years or not, it is always good to have options.  Most of all, I want my daughter to have options, and I need to show her through example. She is my motivation.

What else?

Holidays happened, birthdays happened, fun events happened,  I lost most of the baby weight, (that was not fun, I'm not going to lie, but at least I don't burst into tears at pictures of me anymore.  That really happened.)  I fit in almost all of my old stuff, so I'm okay now.
Oh, and we moved houses again for the thousandth time.   That's another long story.  We're in the process of purchasing my in-laws home.  My mother in law will be living in the basement apartment here with us, (instead of finding some other place and live all by herself and pay some jerk high rent).  It works out for everybody, and so far we really love living here.  I always told Scott I was okay staying on the East as long as I had a house with room for my family.  We now have that, and we are so grateful.

Am I caught up?

How about if I promise to post pictures of stuff that's happened in flashback sequences while I try to remain current?  Yes? No?

Please ask questions on specifics you want to know.

Um um...  We spent a month in Utah. I need to post those pictures I guess.

Crap.  I think I will just post a bunch of random pictures to make up for the lack of posting.  Here is a quick photo dump so I can stop feeling guilty. Please scroll at your hearts desire...
